Effective Leader Program - Spring 2022 - Module 1 - "Leading Through Change"

NOTE:  Skill Development sessions are now conducted via live virtual events and the Peer Community sessions are conducted in-person.

Module 1 - "Leading Through Change"

Session 1 - Change Management

• Overview of Organizational Systems Thinking model.
• Fundamentals of the change curve and how to lead through it
• Key components of a change management plan
• Identifying the learning opportunity
• Assessing the level of mastery and giving effective feedback

Session 2 - Culture & Future State

• Organizational vision/mission creation
• Requirements to establish and sustain desired culture
• Organizational culture assessment
• Power of mental models
• Create alignment, meaning, and a higher purpose for work

Module 1 includes:

• 2 - full day skill development sessions
• 2 - peer community group sessions (part of the skill development days)
• 1 - half day peer community group session (In-person)**
• 1 - 2 hour on-site coaching gembas (go & see) (*GTA only)
• 2 - 1 hour coaching calls

All sessions run from 12:30PM - 5:00PM EST / 9:30AM - 2:00PM PST

On-site coaching gembas and coaching calls to be scheduled individually

* Alternative options can be discussed individually for participants attending from outside the GTA such as a virtual gemba or additional coaching calls.

** It is our intention that the half day peer community group session will be conducted in-person within the GTA.  We will make the final decision and location determination approximately 3-4 weeks in advance based on the COVID situation in Ontario.
