Moving from a front-line position to middle management can be a challenging transition. Our "Lead From the Middle" program is designed to empower emerging leaders like you with the skills and mindset needed to excel in your new role.
This comprehensive and practical leadership development program follows a "learn and do" methodology, ensuring that you not only acquire knowledge but also apply it to real-world situations. Throughout the program, you'll receive personalized one-on-one coaching from experienced leaders and guidance from an internal company mentor.
The program begins with the Leadership Launchpad, which covers the course expectations, CHIPs and DIP forms, and program agenda. Attendees, mentors, and sponsors are required to attend the Leadership Launchpad.
This program is further organized into three Modules: From Manager to Leader, People Development, and Mechanisms and Systems. Each Module is divided into two units, with the exception of Module 3, which has three units. Between each module, attendees are required to attend a half-day peer exchange. These Peer Exchanges help integrate learnings from the previous module and offers a chance to network and learn from others in the program.
When held in person, each full-day session will cover most of one module, followed by a half-day session for the Peer Exchange. This will equate to three full days (9am-5pm) and three half days (9am-1pm).
The virtual program will run with more sessions as we acknowledge that virtual coursework can be significantly taxing. In most cases, the virtual programs will run for a maximum of 2 hours at a time for a total of fourteen sessions, including Peer Exchanges.
